The trees were here first. The carriages have not moved in a long time. The building, all glass and steel and timber, is the newest thing on the site.

Museum Cafe is not part of the museum and does not speak for it.You get the setting, the trees and the carriages, from eight in the morning.

“Gem just discovered. Very pleasant setting in the newly refurbished Museum complex. Lovely deck with an old train carriage as a centerpiece. Fully loaded menu with very tasty well prepped meals and drinks. A bit pricy but worth the expense with generous portions and delicious preparations. Highly recommended.”

Dave Mitchell

“We had fun on my sister's birthday, singing and dancing. Staff was very friendly and the food was great”

Tsholofelo Ntsimako
